The Vintage Chevrolet Car Club of America will host its Southern Spring tour through Friday in Morgan City.

Twenty-three cars from around the United States will be in attendance. The group will be touring attractions throughout South Louisiana.

Guests will visit the Mr. Charlie oil rig, the Military Museum in Houma, Greenwood Alligator Farms, Rip Van Winkle Gardens in New Iberia, Houmas House in Darrow. Optional tours for attendees include a driving tour to Franklin and the Wedell Williams Aviation Museum. The Cajun Coast Welcome Center is hosting an ice cream social on Monday and AJ Dohmann Chevrolet is hosting a jambalaya social on Tuesday.

Bryant Felt, VCCCA director, said "We are excited to be visiting the Cajun Coast for our 23rd southern spring tour. We have had to cancel our spring tour for the past two years due to COVID, and we are thrilled to spend our first year back in South Louisiana. We are most looking forward to the history, cuisine, and southern hospitality.

"We're thrilled to be hosting this event that's bringing vintage cars from across the country, Cajun Coast Tourism, Executive Director Carrie Stansbury said. "We can't wait for them to experience the hospitality and beauty that South Louisiana, and especially St. Mary Parish, are known for," she added.

The Cajun Coast would like to thank its supporting partners in this event: Clarion Hotel & Conference Center and A.J Dohmann Chevrolet.
