Armed robbery, burglary, theft charges reported by local authorities

Morgan City police and St. Mary deputies reported weekend arrests on armed robbery, burglary and theft charge.
St. Mary
Sheriff Blaise Smith reported that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 79 complaints and made these complaints:
--Kaelin Brikel Broussard, 21, Jeanerette, was arrested at 4:27 p.m. Friday on a warrant alleging armed robbery aggravated with weapon. Bail has not been set at this time.
--Jessica Lynn Deshotels, 41, Opelousas, was arrested at12:06 p.m. Saturday on a charge of theft. Bail has not been set at this time.
--Juvenile Female, 17, Franklin, was arrested at 3:01 p.m. Saturday on charges of speeding, careless operation, resisting an officer by flight, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The juvenile female was released into the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
--Shana Sherice Jones, 36, Franklin, was arrested at 5:53 p.m. Friday on charges of interference with a law enforcement investigation and resisting arrest or officer. Jones was released on a $3,500 bond.
--Damien Aurelius Hale, 33, Franklin, was arrested at 12:09 a.m. Saturday on charges of resisting arrest or officer, disturbing the peace intoxicated and battery on a police officer. Bail has not been set at this time.
--Corey James Hilliard, 35, Morgan City, was arrested at 10:41 a.m. Saturday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on a charge of disturbing the peace. Hilliard was released on a $368 fine.
Morgan City
Chief Chad M. Adams reported that the Morgan City Police Department responded to 119 calls for service over the last 72-hour reporting period and made these arrests:
--Joey Anthony Choplin, 43, Terrace Highway, Broussard, was arrested at 7:40 p.m. Friday on a charge of theft (under $1,000).
--Wade Nathan White, 30, Fourth Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 4:11 p.m. Saturday on a charge of simple burglary.
--Anthony Terrell Dixon, 33, Arlington Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 12:38 p.m. Friday on five counts of failure to appear to pay fine (6th Ward Morgan City Court).
--Jonathan Jermaine Motte, 39, Mayon Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 3:41 p.m. Friday on charges of criminal damage to property and disturbing the peace (intoxicated).
--Teirra Nicole Gollmer, 25, Field Road, Morgan City, was arrested at 2:51 a.m. Saturday on charges of possession of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle, improper lighting and resisting an officer.
--Katherine Victoria Stoute, 30, La. 182, Morgan City, was arrested at 1:08 p.m. Saturday on a charge of failure to appear for trial (16th Judicial Court).
--Christopher Joseph Adams Jr., 42, Leona Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 6:35 p.m. Saturday on a charge of disturbing the peace (intoxicated) and open burning in corporate limits.
--Manuel Paul Fabre, 39, Fourth Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 10:58 a.m. Sunday on a charge of cruelty to animals.
Patterson
Chief Garrett Grogan ,/b>reported these arrests:
--Lillian R. Smith, 65, Lawrence Street, Patterson, was arrested at 3:37 p.m. Friday on charges of license suspended or revoked, no insurance and expired motor vehicle inspection sticker. Smith was released with a citation.
--Sherlock J. Levison, 54, Main Street, Patterson, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. Saturday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on two counts of no motor vehicle inspection, two counts of no license plate, failure to carry registration and no registration. Levison is incarcerated at the Patterson PD Jail with bond set at $1,536.
--Taylor J. Davis, 24, Natalie Lane, Patterson, was arrested at 1:38 p.m. Sunday on charges of no driver’s license, no insurance, no license plate, improper acceleration and no registration. Davis is incarcerated at the Patterson PD Jail with bond set at $1,234.
Franklin
Interim Chief Tina Thibodeaux reported that the Franklin Police Department responded to 21 complaints over the weekend and made the following arrests:
--Javell Jack, 30, Main Street, Jeanerette, was arrested at 11:45 a.m. Friday on a warrant dated Nov. 14, 2019, alleging simple criminal damage to property. Jack was booked, processed, and released on a $1,000 bond.
--Milton Green, 36, Willow Street, Franklin, was arrested at 2:41 p.m. Friday on the charges of simple battery, remaining where forbidden and resisting an officer. Green was booked, processed, and held on a $5,000 bond.
--Charlie Scott, 60, Franklin, was arrested at 5 p.m. Friday on a charge of obscenity. Scott was booked, processed and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
--Michell Fernandez, 41, Gum Point Lane, Franklin, was arrested at 10:59 p.m. Friday on a warrant alleging disturbing the peace and simple battery. Fernandez was booked, processed and released on a $3,500 bond.
--Trivany Layton, 38, Augustine Maze Street, Franklin, was arrested at 10:59 p.m. Friday on a warrant alleging disturbing the peace and simple battery. Layton was booked, processed and released on a $3,500 bond.
--Kanesha Parker, 39, Eighth Street, Franklin, was arrested at 10:59 p.m. Friday on a warrant alleging disturbing the peace and simple battery. Parker was booked, processed and released on a $3,500 bond.
--Alvontre Griffin, 22, Sterling Road, Franklin, was arrested at 11:13 p.m. Saturday on charges of cruelty to the infirm and simple robbery. Griffin was booked, processed and held on a $35,000 bond.
--Joseph Williams, 62, Eighth Street, Franklin, was arrested at 1:56 p.m. Sunday on a charge of domestic abuse battery. Williams was booked, processed and released on a $20,000 bond.
