Deborah Lynn Hughes, age 57, of Morgan City, LA passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Deborah was born April 22, 1965 in Morgan City, LA to the late Thomas Sr. and Noella Keller Ackman.

Deborah is preceded in death by her parents; mother in law, Dianna Miles; sister, Lisa Ackman; grandchildren, Nathan Ivy, Steven Hunt, Victoria Hughes; great-grandchild, Drako Guerrero and her best friend and cousin, Ronnie Barbier.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 42 years, Rodney Wayne Hughes; son, Thomas (Ciara) Hughes, daughters, Lisa (Atanacio) Guerrero, Christine Hughes and her companion Cody Thibodaux, Rhonda Hughes and Crystal Pennell; brothers, Thomas (Sandy) Ackman Jr., Terry Sr. and Kerry Daigle; sisters, Penny Galloway and Angela Gilbert; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, 3 godchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
