Theft, aggravated assault arrests reported by local agencies

Morgan City police reported six arrests Thursday and early Friday, including two on theft charges. And Franklin police made an arrest involving four counts of aggravated assault with a firearm.
Morgan City
Interim Police Chief Mark E. Griffin Jr. reported that the Morgan City Police Department responded to 30 calls for service over the last 24-hour reporting period and made these arrests:
--Gerald Brown, 41, Houma, was arrested at 9:45 a.m. Thursday on a charge of theft of a motor vehicle.
--Miranda Rose Brown, 29, Elaine Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 12:21 a.m. Friday on a charge of theft ($1,000-$5,000). Brown was arrested by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office at 9:01 p.m. Thursday and transferred to the MCPD.
--Sherrell Brown, 37, Federal Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested at 10:32 a.m. Thursday on charges of driving under suspension, disregard of traffic controls, probation violation (6th Ward Morgan City Court), failure to appear to pay probation fee (6th Ward Morgan City Court) and failure to appear to pay fine (6th Ward Morgan City Court).
--Nalinakumaran Nair Sritharan Thambi, 75, La. 182, Morgan City, was arrested at 10:33 a.m. Thursday on two counts of failure to appear for arraignment (6th Ward Morgan City Court).
--Steven Wayne Davis, 46, Third Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 11:36 a.m. Thursday on four counts of failure to appear to pay fine (6th Ward Morgan City Court).
--Jarvis Nigel Mack, 36, Halsey Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 5:22 p.m. Thursday on charges of driving under suspension and improper backing.
Franklin
Police Chief Morris Beverly reported that the Franklin Police Department responded to 11 complaints over the last 24-hour reporting period and made this arrest:
--Lacy Foco, 32, Carl C. Foulcard Drive, Franklin, was arrested at 10:43 a.m. Thursday on four counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, three counts of criminal trespassing, resisting a police officer with force, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
Foco was additionally charged on a warrant for Jeanerette City Court alleging failure to appear on the charges of speed 86 mph in a 55 mph zone, driving under suspension, no insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia, and on a warrant from the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office alleging failure to appear on charges of exploitation of the infirmed and monetary instrument abuse. Foco was booked, processed and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
