THEO LENORMAND BATTAGLIA

August 6, 1931 – July 15, 2022
Private memorial services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Centerville during a Mass of Christian burial for Ms. Theo L. Battaglia, a native and lifelong resident of Franklin who passed away at the age of 90 on Friday, July 15, 2022. Father Joel Faulk will be the Celebrant for the Mass with Father Oneil Landry assisting. Private inurnment will be held in the Franklin Cemetery.
Ms. Theo, as she was affectionately known, is survived by three children, Jodi Landry and her husband Jay, Cindy Pusateri and her husband Sammy, and Tony Battaglia and his wife Carol; five grandchildren, Samuel Pusateri, Trey Landry, Saron Battaglia and fiancé Dustin Harless, Joseph Battaglia III, and Christopher Battaglia; granddaughter-in-law, Erica H. Pusateri (Matthew Pusateri); two sisters, Elizabeth Davis and Sandra Toman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. “Joe” Battaglia; her parents, John T. LeNormand and Dorothy Schoenstein LeNormand; one brother, Jack LeNormand; and one grandson, Matthew Pusateri.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made in Ms. Theo’s name to Hanson - St. John Schools, 924 Main St., Franklin, LA 70538.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Theo’s devoted caregiver, Shelby Concienne, and her doctor, Dr. Stephen McPherson and staff. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.
