St. Mary Parish law enforcement officers defended their title Saturday in a close win over St. Mary Parish firefighters in the Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association's second annual Battle of the Badges singles event at Kemper Williams Park in Patterson.
Later, the first responders battled it out in a doubles match with law enforcement and won the best of three 31-point games.
