CLEVELAND JOSEPH OHMER SR.

Cleveland Joseph Ohmer, Sr., 86, a native of Bayou Chene and resident of Amelia, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022 at Ochsner St. Mary in Morgan City.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Roy Ohmer of Amelia; two daughters, Rita Chatsko of Schriever and Phyllis Ohmer of Thibodaux; two sons, Cleveland Ohmer Jr. and Howard Ohmer, both of Amelia; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; four sisters, Lona Pennison, Loretta Tabor, Geneva Ohmer and Helen Benoit; and a host of other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, paternal and grandparents, a brother, two sisters, a half-brother, two sons and three grandsons.
Memorial visitation will be Sunday from 11 a.m. until services at 2 p.m. at Twin City Funeral Home, who is in charge of arrangements.
