Barbara Lamey Ghirardi, 94, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Plaquemine, died at 7:25 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at her home.
Visitation was scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, at St. Francis of Assissi in Donaldsonville. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be Wednesday at St. Raphael (Mount Pleasant).
She is survived by daughter Susan Ghirardi Jumonville (husband, Henry Jumonville) of Plaquemine; brother Walt Lamey; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland C. Ghirardi; brother Ronald "Ronnie" Lamey; mother Amanda Eve Lamey; and father Walter Lamey.
