Local law enforcement agencies report arrests

Morgan City
Morgan City Police Department Chief James F. Blair reports the following arrests:
—Kenneth Rollins, 30, La. 182, Morgan City, was arrested June 17 at 3:05 a.m. on a charge of operating vehicle with suspended license.
—Oscar Rodriguez, 38, Waterworks Road, Amelia, was arrested June 17 at 10:01 p.m. on charges of tail lamps and driver must be licensed.
—Justin John Peeples, 32, Lori Lane, Patterson, was arrested June 17 at 11:14 p.m. on charges of headlights for motor vehicles and operating vehicle with suspended license.
—Rasheem Robertson, 20, Truman Circle, Thibodaux, was arrested June 17 at 9:38 p.m. on charges of simple assault and criminal damage to property.
St. Mary
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith reports the following arrests:
—Leo Randolph White, 38, Morgan City, was arrested June 17 at 4:22 p.m. for driving under suspension.
White was released on a summons to appear.
—Salomon Cabanilla, 38, Morgan City, was arrested June 17 at 7:51 p.m. on charges of driving on roadway laned for traffic, driving under suspension, no insurance, expired or no inspection sticker and no registration in vehicle.
Cabanilla was released on a summons to appear.
—Devon Karl Marks Sr., 24, Baldwin, was arrested June 17, at 9:19 p.m. for no headlights, possession of marijuana, driver must be licensed and possession of firearm-felon.
Bail has not been set.
—Harold Anthony Ganaway III, 22, Patterson, was arrested June 18, at 12:20 a.m. for reckless operation — no accident, speeding, and driver must be licensed.
Ganaway was released on a summons to appear.
Assumption
Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the following arrest:
—Joshua Junior Brown, 24, of La. 1, Belle Rose, was arrested June 17 on a warrant for felony domestic abuse battery in connection with an Oct. 8, 2020 incident that occurred near Belle Rose.
On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to a local medical facility in reference to a person being treated at that location for injuries sustained in a domestic matter.
Deputies interviewed a female subject who had sustained injuries consistent with possible domestic abuse. Deputies learned that a confrontation had occurred near Belle Rose involving Brown. The incident turned physical resulting in the female sustaining hand injuries.
Upon completion of the investigation, deputies applied for and were granted warrants for both individuals.
Travana Irie Pearley, 20, of La. 1, Belle Rose, was previously arrested on a charge of domestic abuse battery and posted bail.
Brown was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of domestic abuse battery. As of June 18 he remained incarcerated with bond set at $2,000.
