UPDATED WITH REGIONAL ARREST REPORTS: Franklin reserve officer, wife arrested in sex crime case

A man, identified as a Franklin Police Department reserve officer, and his wife have been arrested in the investigation of sex crimes involving a young person.
—Travis Jasmire Royce Williams, 32, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday on six counts of aggravated crimes against nature.
—Sherrell Sherise Williams, 37, Franklin, were arrested at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday on charges of obstruction of justice and accessory after the fact to crimes against nature.
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint from the Franklin area Feb. 9 about a possible crime against a juvenile victim. A detective with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office was assigned to the case and after a thorough investigation, warrants were obtained for the arrest of Travis Williams and Sherelle Williams, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Wednesday night, Travis Williams and Sherelle Williams were arrested on the warrants and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Travis Williams was released on a $100,000 bond. Sherelle Williams was released on a $50,000 bond.
St. Mary
Sheriff Blaise Smith advised that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 37 complaints and made these arrests:
—Alonzo Jacquiese Henry, 26, Patterson, was arrested at 8:11 a.m. Wednesday on three warrants for failure to appear on charges of theft of less than $1,000, aggravated flight from an officer where human life is in danger, resisting an arrest, no child restraint, vehicle license required, failure to carry vehicle registration certificate, operating a vehicle without properly lit lamps for conditions, improper child restraint and operating a vehicle without proof of insurance.
No bail has been set.
—Curtis Paul Gaudet Jr., 27, Amelia, was arrested at 8:24 a.m. Wednesday on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of domestic abuse battery by strangulation. No bail has been set.
—Travis Joseph Skeen, 32, Morgan City, was arrested at 8:48 a.m. Wednesday on two warrants for failure to appear on charges of possession of methamphetamine, improper turn or failure to give required signal, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of hydrocodone.
No bail has been set.
—Wybra Shane Jones, 40, Morgan City, was arrested at 9:03 a.m. Wednesday on charges of improper lane usage, no driver’s license on person, possession of marijuana and obstruction of justice (tampering).
Jones also held a Morgan City Police Department warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer.
No bail has been set.
—Linden Ronsonet Muffoletto, 39, New Iberia, was arrested at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday on charges of roadway laned for traffic, possession of methamphetamine, possession of Schedule II drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
No bail has been set.
—Melissa Jean Leboeuf, 50, Houma, was arrested at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday on charges of turning movements and required signals and driving while intoxicated.
Bail was set at $2,750.
Berwick
Police Chief David Leonard reported these arrests:
A traffic stop by Berwick police Wednesday resulted in three arrests and the seizure of large amounts of ecstasy and cash, Leonard said.
—-Timothy Allen Jr., 42, Baker, was arrested at 5:56 p.m. Wednesday on charges of possession with intent to distribute MDMA (ecstasy), driving under suspension and proper vehicle equipment required.
—Samuel Lewis, 48, New Orleans, was arrested at 5:56 p.m. Wednesday on charges of distribution of MDMA, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstruction of justice.
—Eloise Hampton, 34, Chalmette, was arrested at 5:56 p.m. Wednesday on charges of possession with intent to distribute MDMA, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, transactions involving drug proceeds, resisting an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.
An officer in the area of U.S. 90 observed a vehicle traveling east with only one operable taillight, according to the Berwick Police Department.
The officer also observed that the license plate view was obstructed. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle, and officers made contact with Allen and the other occupants
During the course of the stop, officers detected a strong odor of marijuana from the vehicle. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and occupants.
During this time, Allen was found to have MDMA pills in his pocket, the Police Department said.
A computer check revealed that his driver’s license was suspended as well.
Continuing the investigation, officers spoke with Lewis, who too had MDMA pills on his person as well as a bag of marijuana.
It was learned that Lewis discarded some marijuana before being stopped by police.
Officers lastly spoke with Hampton, who originally gave a false name because outstanding warrants that she had, the Police Department said.
While searching the vehicle, officers located a large quantity of different MDMA pills as well as a large amount of currency.
It was learned that Lewis had given some MDMA pills to Hampton, and that they were destined to be sold, the Police Department said.
Allen, Lewis, and Hampton were all placed under arrest and transported to the Berwick Police Department, where they await a bond hearing.
Morgan City
Chief James F. Blair reported that over the last 24-hour period, the Morgan City Police Department responded to 43 calls for service and made these arrests:
—Andrew Kovac Jr., 38, Wise Street, Patterson, was arrested at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday on charges of no seat belt, no insurance, switched license plate, no inspection sticker, and view inward or outward through windshield.
—Dequante Wesley, 27, Roderick Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Friday on warrant for aggravated battery, resisting an officer and possession of marijuana (first offense).
—Nicholas Gambel, 40, Fifth Street, Berwick, was arrested at 8:48 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of violation of a protective order and a Morgan City Court warrant for failure to appear.
—Patrick Lemoine, 28, David Drive, Patterson, was arrested at 9:38 p.m. Wednesday on charges of simple battery, remaining after forbidden, simple assault and disturbing the peace (intoxicated), and on a warrant for violation of a protective order.
Assumption
Sheriff Leland Falcon reported this arrest:
—Heath Michael Aucoin, 40, Ewell Street, Belle Rose, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of felony theft.
The arrest resulted from a March 22 incident in Napoleonville.
On March 25, deputies were dispatched to a residential address in Napoleonville in reference to a theft.
Deputies interviewed the complainant and learned that the suspect, now identified as Aucoin, had been living at the address and sometimes prior to the crime had been asked to leave.
During the alleged crime, a significant amount of clothing, tools and other items were stolen.
A witness was interviewed and provided information linking Aucoin to the crime.
Based on all available information, a warrant of arrest for Aucoin was obtained.
That warrant was subsequently entered in the National Data Base.
On Wednesday, a uniformed patrol deputy located Aucoin on Ewell Street in Belle Rose. He was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Facility pending a bond hearing.
St. Martin
Sheriff Becket Breaux reported these arrest:
—Cody Doucet, 25, Main Highway, Breaux Bridge, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of domestic abuse child endangerment.
—Travis Hebert, 30, La. 16, Olla, was arrested Wednesday by the Breaux Bridge Police Department on charges of simple possession of marijuana; battery on a police officer; sale, distribution or possession of a legend drug; and simple burglary of a movable or immovable.
—Donvontae Ozenne, 26, Robertson Street, New Iberia, was arrested Wednesday on an extradition warrant.
—Trent Thibodeaux, 35, Leland Street, Breaux Bridge, was arrested Wednesday by the Henderson Police Department on a charge of possession of stolen firearms.
Chitimacha
Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reported these arrests:
—Arneze Jack, 32, Saint Peter Street, New Iberia, was arrested Tuesday on charges of driving while intoxicated child endangerment (two counts), maximum speed law, no driver’s license and operating a motor vehicle not covered by insurance.
An officer conducted a traffic stop with the assistance of the St.Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Baldwin Police Department.
During the investigation, it was learned Jack was intoxicated and was arrested.
He was transported to the parish jail.
—Derrick White, 40, Rogers Lane, Charenton, was arrested Thursday on an active warrant for the Chitimacha Tribal Police Department for criminal trespass.
On March 15, officers responded to a tribal residence in reference to trespassing.
As a result of the investigation, a warrant was issued for White.
