JESSE H. ENGLETON SR.

Jesse H. Engleton Sr., 76, a native of Berwick, died March 20, 2021.
Visitation was Saturday at 11 a.m. until services at 1 p.m. at Little Zion Baptist Church in Berwick. Burial followed at Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Jeanerette.
He is survived by his wife, Cornelia Engleton of Jeanerette; 10 children, Jesse Engleton Jr., Margaret Powell and Andrew Byers, all of Berwick, Jessica Daniels of Morgan City, Elizabeth Morgel of Houma, Jesse D. Engleton, Latasha Alfred, Robert Parker and Wayne Foster, all of Jeanerette, and Patricia Byers of Houston; two brothers, Robert Engleton of Berwick and Roger Engleton of Killeen, Texas; 23 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four children, six brothers and three great-grandchildren.
MK Dixon Funeral Home of Baldwin was in charge of arrangements.
