Children’s Fundays is July 11 at Biedenharn

BATON ROUGE — Biedenharn Museum & Gardens will begin its Children’s Fundays on July 11 from 10 a.m. to noon. The July project will be DIY Lava Lamps.
Children’s Fundays occur once a month from 10 a.m. to noon. The do-it-yourself crafts are for ages 3-16. Drop off the children while the adults go view the gardens at Beidenharn.
Tickets can be purchased in the museum store on the morning of the event. Cost is $5 per child and accompanying adults enter free. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
About the Biedenharn Museum & Gardens
The Biedenharn Museum & Gardens is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Free parking is available on three sides of the museum. The main parking area is located on Speed Avenue near the main entrance to the Coke Museum located at 2000 Riverside Drive.
Tour information, maps and tickets are available at the museum store located inside the Coke Museum. Admission is free until July 7. After that date admission is $6, adults; $4, students under age 12; and $20, annual pass.
