Central Catholic students compete at Beta convention

Central Catholic Elementary School’s Beta Club attended the Elementary Louisiana Beta Convention Jan. 28-29 in Lafayette. The Quiz Bowl team consisting of members Emma Lind, Gavin DiMatteo, Branson Jolivette and Beau LeBlanc placed third among more than 90 teams. The Engineering team, Gianna Case, Spencer Fuhrer, Xailen Hebert, Tarrin Canty and Maddox Justilian, placed second among 70 schools with their bridge project. In Creative Writing, Gavin DiMatteo placed fourth; and in Social Studies-Academics, Branson Jolivette placed first. The team sponsor is Enjolie Domingue.
