The Patterson Lumberjacks held off the Morgan City Tigers for a 62-58 victory in Morgan City Tuesday. While Patterson led 54-46 after three periods of play, Morgan City outscored its rivals 12-8 in the final period. However, it wasn’t enough to secure the victory. Early on, Patterson held a 14-12 lead after a quarter, and the Lumberjacks led 30-28 at halftime. Patterson extended its lead in the third quarter after outscoring Morgan City 24-18 in the period.
