The thrill of excitement was in the air Thursday when members of the public were able to get a glimpse of “The New MSY” during passenger experiences and open houses held at the new terminal set to open Nov. 6 in Kenner. Guests taking the passenger experience went through a simulation of checking a bag and going to the security checkpoint before touring the new concourses. Plans are for the current 60-year-old Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (with the aviation designation of MSY) to move its services after the last flight on Nov. 5 to The New MSY during the night,
