Plans for Morgan City trail move forward

Imagine being able to walk, run or ride a bicycle on a paved trail that encompasses all of Morgan City. That’s what community leaders hope to make a reality. The City Council approved a resolution Tuesday to submit three grants through the Federal Highway Administration’s Recreational Trails Program to fund construction of portions of the biking and walking trail in the city.
