Oil and gas together continue to be a major driver of the U.S. economy, and companies are constantly looking for new opportunities in the industry, an executive with an Oklahoma-based company said Tuesday. Clay Gaspar, president and chief operating officer of WPX Energy, was guest speaker during a meeting of the Atchafalaya Chapter of the American Petroleum Institute at the Petroleum Club of Morgan City.
