Franklin Police Chief Tina Thibodeaux reported the following arrest:
Charles Boudreaux, 53, of Sanders Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 12:46 p.m. on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on charges of stop signs and yield signs. Boudreaux was booked, processed, and released on a $78 bond.
Tiger Nash, 19, of Hospital Avenue, Franklin, while incarcerated at the Franklin Police Department, was arrested Wednesday, on a warrant for the charge of felony theft.
Nash was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
Chris Baptiste, 50, of Irish Bend Road, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 6:05 p.m. on the charge of theft of goods—fifth offense.
Baptiste was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
Rennie Danos, 41, of Plantation Drive, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 10:32 p.m. on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on charges of criminal trespass.
Danos was booked, processed, and released on a $500.00 bond.
April Phillips, 28, of School House Lane, Charenton, was arrested Friday at 9:51 p.m. on charges of theft—second offense and criminal damage to property.
Phillips was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Keenze Howard, 53, of Ninth Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 6:20 p.m. on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of domestic abuse battery. Howard was booked, processed, and released on a $2,500 bond.
Jared Cowart, 33, of US 90, Jeanerette, was arrested Saturday at 10:27 p.m. on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family.
Cowart was booked, processed, and held on a $3,000 bond.
Ray Granger, 31, of Caffery Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 4:54 p.m. on warrants for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on charges of open container, no driver’s license, driver must be licensed and loud music.
Granger was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
Joey Jack, 43, of O’Neal Chube Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 6:24 p.m. on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of violation of protective order. Jack was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum reported the following arrests:
Jessy Eues, 32, of 110 Beadle St., Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday at 12:01 p.m. on the charge of nuisance animal.
Deputies patrolling Amelia were dispatched to a residence on Degravelle Road in reference to a dog complaint. Upon arrival, the deputies made contact with the homeowner who said the neighbor’s dog barks continuously. The homeowner said it is an ongoing problem that has been reported. The deputies made contact with the neighbor, Eues. Eues was advised of the complaint and was arrested for nuisance animal. Eues was released on a summons.
Jadi Williams, 29, of 614 79 Pines Lane, Bayou Vista, was arrested Tuesday at 9:26 p.m. on charges of no license plate light, driver must be licensed and possession of marijuana.
A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista observed a vehicle with no operational license plate light. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Williams. Through the stop, the deputy learned that Williams had no driver’s license. The deputy also found a marijuana cigarette on the driver’s side floorboard. Williams was arrested and released on a summons.
Cody Parker, 35, of 178 Shady Grove Road, Patterson, was arrested Tuesday at 11:05 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana, expired license plate and driving under suspension.
A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista observed a vehicle with an expired license plate. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Parker. Through the stop, the deputy learned that Parker’s driver’s license was suspended. The deputy also found a marijuana cigarette in Parker’s possession. Parker was arrested and released on a summons.
Niki Neal, 18, of 539 David Road, Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday at 11:31 p.m. on the charge of possession of marijuana.
A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista observed two subjects wearing dark clothing and as the deputy approached, one of them dropped something on the ground. The deputy made contact with the subject, identified as Neal, who said he had dropped a marijuana cigarette. Neal also had another partially burned marijuana cigarette on his person. Neal was arrested and released on a summons.
Cory Fernandez, 29, of 120 Terrebonne St., Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday at 5:17 p.m. on charges of improper lane usage and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Narcotics detectives were patrolling the area of Bayou Vista when they observed a vehicle cross the fog line twice on La. 182. The detectives conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Fernandez. During the stop, the detectives smelled an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located in the vehicle. Fernandez was arrested and released on a summons.
Wilbert Harrison, 34, of 413 Sixth St., Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 11:48 p.m. on the charge of possession of marijuana.
A deputy patrolling the area of Morgan City observed a male subject standing next to a vehicle and as the deputy approached, the male acted in a suspicious manner. The deputy made contact with the male, identified as Harrison. Through the investigation, the deputy found marijuana in Harrison’s possession. Harrison was arrested and released on a summons.
Tyjuandre Tillman, 27, of 409 East Bollard St., Baldwin, was arrested Thursday at 12:27 a.m. on a summons for failure to appear on the charge of resisting an officer.
A deputy patrolling the area of Franklin was dispatched to a medical facility to make contact with a subject who held an active warrant. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Tillman and advised him of the active warrant. Tillman was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail was set for Tillman.
Angela Barlar, 53, of 103 Marie St., Houma, was arrested Thursday at 1:35 a.m. on charges of no license plate, no proper equipment, turning movements and required signals, possession of Schedule II drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Dawn Pledger, 42, of 210 Edward St., Houma, was arrested Thursday at 1:35 a.m. on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of Schedule II drug with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies patrolling the area of Morgan City observed a vehicle with no license plate lights fail to use proper turn signals. The deputies conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Barlar and a passenger, Pledger. Through the stop, drugs and drug paraphernalia were found. Barlar and Pledger were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail was set for Barlar or Pledger.
Curtis Davis, 50, of 491 Fourth St., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 1:04 am on charges of driving under suspension and no insurance.
A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista observed a car on the shoulder with emergency flashers. The deputy made contact with the driver, Davis. The deputy learned that Davis was driving under suspension and did not have insurance on the vehicle. Davis was arrested and released on a summons.
Jase Rudolph, 22, of 1805 North St., Patterson, was arrested Friday at 2:29 a.m. on charges of driving while intoxicated, open container and improper lane usage.
A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista observed a vehicle driving over the posted speed limit crossing over the centerline and driving in the opposite lane. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Rudolph. The deputy noticed that Rudolph’s speech was slurred and there was a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from Rudolph’s person. The deputy conducted field sobriety in which Rudolph performed poorly. Rudolph was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for chemical testing on the Intoxilizer 9000 in which his blood alcohol level tested at 0.206g%. Rudolph was transported to the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center for booking. Rudolph was later released on a $3,250 bond.
Alex Richie, 61, of 1125 Marguerite St. Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 6:21 a.m. on charges of disturbing the peace-intoxicated and resisting arrest or officer.
A deputy patrolling Amelia was dispatched to a medical emergency on Duhon Boulevard. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with two male subjects standing over a man who was lying in the middle of the road. The man, identified as Richie, resisted the deputy when he tried to get him up and out of the roadway. Acadian Ambulance arrived on the scene to check Richie’s condition. Richie was transported to the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center for booking. Richie was later released on a $3,500 bond.
Michael Martin Jr., 35, of 1111 Dulles Drive, Lafayette, was arrested Saturday at 6:10 a.m. on charges of burglary-attempted and hit and run.
Harold Sheets Jr., 35, of 511 Everett St., Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 6:10 a.m. on the charge of burglary-attempted and on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.
A deputy patrolling the area of Patterson was dispatched to a residence on La. 182 in reference to an alarm activation. Upon arrival, the deputy was joined by two other deputies and a Patterson Police Department officer, and as the investigation began they noticed that the screens were removed from the windows and another window was broken. The homeowner provided camera access from the incident and two male subjects were identified as Martin and Sheets. The deputies observed that an awning at the residence was hit and damaged by the subject’s vehicle as it left the residence. While conducting the investigation, the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office received a shoplifting call from a local business. Through the investigation of the shoplifting call, Martin was apprehended and Sheets was subsequently located at a residence in Bayou Vista. Martin and Sheets were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail was set for Martin or Sheets.
Richard Giroir Jr., 58, of 101 B Lane 20, Bayou Vista, was arrested Saturday at 11:32 a.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of hit and run and careless operation of a motor vehicle.
Deputies patrolling Bayou Vista observed two males pushing a cart containing merchandise from a local business, in the middle of the road. The deputies made contact with the men and through the investigation learned that one of the men, Giroir, held an active warrant for his arrest. Giroir was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail was set at $500.
Cartney Price, 29, of 202 Gloria St., Thibodaux, was arrested Saturday at 8:19 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and no tail lights.
Deputies patrolling Bayou Vista observed a vehicle with a broken tail lamp. The deputies conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Price. Through the stop, drugs and drug paraphernalia were found. Price was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Price was released on a $3,750 bond.
Stephen Castleberry, 63, of 1301 Taylor St., Kenner, was arrested Sunday at 1:21 p.m. on charges of driving under suspension and expired license plate.
Deputies patrolling Amelia were investigating an auto crash that occurred on the US 90 at Siracusa Highrise when they made contact with Castleberry, a driver of one of the vehicles. Through the investigation, the deputies learned that Castleberry’s license was suspended and his license plate was expired. Castleberry was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Price was later released on his own recognizance.
