COATS FOR KIDS
Ruff Ryders hosting a Coats for Kids event with food and music from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 20 at Siracusaville Recreation Center, 1110 Grace St. Donations and coats accepted. Food: boiled turkey necks, corn and potatoes, hot dogs and hamburgers. Games: bounce house, egg toss, basketball, flag football, potato sack race and more. GUMBO/RAFFLE
St. Andrew Gumbo Cook Off and Raffle is Oct. 21 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Amelia. Serving at 11 a.m. Tickets $7 or three for $20. Includes: all you can eat gumbo and potato salad, and one drink. Judges Choice and People’s Choice will be awarded. Ladies Altar Society will host a donation baked goods table. Raffle drawing follows awards presentation.
