NEW ORLEANS — Southeast Louisiana Girl Scouts proved that they have what it takes to be female entrepreneurs, after completing yet another successful product sale during this year’s Cookie Program, the SLGS news release states. Girl Scouts sold more than 1 million boxes of cookies in Girl Scouts Louisiana East’s 23-parish jurisdiction, with the girls averaging 165 boxes each. The girls used their goal setting, money management, business ethics, people skills and decision making skills to lead their troop and council to another victory.
