RICKEY PERCY MATTHEWS

Rickey Percy Matthews, 66, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Cypress, TX, passed away peacefully at 3:33 a.m. on Monday, March 26, 2018.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Church of Christ, 163 N. Hollywood Road in Houma, La. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery in Gibson, La.
He is survived by his wife Janice Westley Matthews of Cypress, TX; daughters, Cyminde Matthews and Mrs. Carl (Sakala) Lewis of Cypress, TX; three grandchildren; a brother, Reginald Matthews of Franklin and a sister, Wanda Matthews of Morgan City; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents.
