Mr. Derrick Demond Wise, age 40, a native of Jeanerette, La. and a resident of Franklin, La., passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 222 p.m. at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, La.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to funeral at 12 noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Franklin, La.
Mr. Wise is survived by his wife Tina James Wise, of Franklin, La.; his father Samuel (Wanda) Wise, Jr. of Jeanerette, La., his mother Mrs. Julius (Judy) Polk, of New Iberia, La.; one son Derrick Wise, Jr., of Franklin, La.; two daughters Tierra James and Ashantae Wise, both of Franklin, La.; five brothers Rev. Samuel (Malachia) Wise, III, and Devon (Keasy) Thomas, both of New Iberia, La.; Derrell (Holly) Thomas, of Lafayette, La.; Tristan Wise of Jeanerette, La.; Sirbatian (Lawanya) Charles, both of Franklin, La.; three sisters Mrs. Terrance (Annastacia) Edwards of Pearland, TX; Mrs. James (Roshelle) Greene and Ebony Wise, both of Jeanerette, La., his grandfather Mr. Samuel Wise Sr., of Jeanerette, La.; god mother Rita Rollins, father-in-law and mother-in-law
Mr. Wise, was preceded in death by his grandmother and grandparents
