Daniel, Foulcard face off in forum

The St. Mary Chamber of Commerce, Franklin-Jeanerette Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and the St. Mary Branch NAACP No. 6091 will host a candidate forum for the Franklin mayoral race.
The forum will be held on Thursday, March 1 at the Teche Theatre on Main Street in Franklin at 6 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
Candidates vying for the seat are Jimmie Daniel II and Eugene Foulcard.
Moderator will be Reginald Weary and timekeepers are Carrie Johnson and Mary Grimm-Howard.
Candidates will be allowed opening statements before the question and answer session, followed by closing statements.
The organizations involved do not support or endorse any political office or any person running for a political office. All advertisements are paid for by the participant’s campaign fund.
