A 25-year-old Bayou Vista man pleaded guilty last week in connection with a January 2016 incident in which he and another suspect were accused of holding someone at gunpoint, duct taping him and dragging him along the ground.
Courtland Francois, 25, of Bayou Vista, pleaded guilty Friday to a charge of attempted possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to St. Mary Parish Clerk of Court records.
Francois had originally been charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon but pleaded to the amended offense.
