Police Reports 4-26-17

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Varice Richardson, 23, 161 Friendship Alley, Amelia, was arrested on Tuesday at 1:24 p.m. for possession of drug paraphernalia and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana. Richardson was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Rebecca Demarco, 45, 2021 Teal St., Slidell, was arrested on Tuesday at 2:56 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of theft, resisting an officer and battery on a police officer. Bail is set at $1,500.
Jasreail James, 32, 501 Seventh St., Franklin, was arrested on Tuesday at 6:51 p.m. on a warrant for theft of goods. No bail is set.
Danielle Ghering, 23, 500 Red Cypress Road, Apt. #1, Patterson, was arrested on Tuesday at 7:08 p.m. for theft of goods. The value of the stolen items totals just over $885. Ghering was released on a $1,500 bond.
Carlos Pichs-Franco, 45, 1108 Ditch Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested on Tuesday at 9:06 p.m. for possession of Schedule II – cocaine. No bail is set.
Cassandra Davis-Staples, 39, James Street, Franklin, was arrested on Tuesday, at 11:38 a.m., on a warrant for the charge of simple battery on a juvenile. Davis-Staples was released on a summons.
Stafford Starks Jr., 18, 500 Martin Luther King Blvd., Baldwin, was arrested on Tuesday, at 1:29 p.m., on warrants for the charges of aggravated battery, illegal use weapons or dangerous instrument and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Starks remains incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
