This year's Spirit of Morgan City Christmas Festival on Saturday at Lawrence Park had a special treat: ice-skating. A rink was set up in the park to let young and old glide on the ice.
The Mistletoe and Moss Holiday Market, presented by the St. Mary Chamber of Commerce, was held Saturday under the U.S. 90 bridge in Morgan City.
St. Mary Parish’s last prep football playoff run ended Friday, when Southern Lab beat Central Catholic 35-0 in the Select Division IV quarterfinals.
