St. Mary residents started their Monday morning by picking up limbs and leaves, worrying about when the power would come back on and counting their blessings.

Hurricane Ida had knocked out power to more than 972,000 Louisiana customers by 9:50 p.m. Sunday, according to the poweroutage.us.
From St. Martin Parish government:
St. Martin has announced a change in its curfew. It will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday and continue until noon Sunday.
