Three in Franklin mayor's race; all councilmen unopposed
Every sitting Franklin City Councilman was returned of office at the end of qualifying last week, and one newcomer also was unopposed.
There are three candidates for mayor: incumbent Raymond Harris Jr., current Dist. C Councilman Eugene Foulcard and Jimmie Daniel II. Daniel served as a councilman on the city council several years ago.
Lester Levine, At Large councilman, Jaime Robison, Dist. A, Chuck Autin, Dist. B, and Joe Garrison, Dist. D were unopposed.
Since Foulcard is running for mayor, his seat was considered vacant for the March 24 election. The only qualifier was Larry Guilbeau who will be the new Dist. C councilman.
