Rotary Club cookoff winner

Sergeant Louis Ashley, on behalf of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office, accepted the award for Best Overall in Franklin Rotary’s Black Pot Cook-Off, Saturday. The award was presented by Rotarian Ed “Tiger” Verdin, and was for the SMPSO’s jambalaya. This was the second year in a row that the SMPSO has won Best Overall at the cook-off.
