Franklin police act on tips from residents; seek suspect

Franklin Police Chief Sabria Mcguire reported that a citizen shared information with a victim of a burglary, as did the victim, and passed that information to police Tuesday night.
At approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday, the FPD received information in reference to residences in the areas of Seventh Street, Sixth Street and Ninth Street which possibly contained stolen property from burglaries, hidden within.
Upon officer’s arrival to the addresses, the residences were searched, and officers located stolen property.
Continuous investigations by detectives revealed several burglary suspects, and charges are pending on completion of investigation efforts.

The FPD is also asking for assistance in locating Terrance McClain. McClain is wanted for illegal possession of stolen things. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Terrance McClain, contact the Franklin Police Department Detectives Division at 337-828-1716.
