Christmas Under the Lamposts

Franklin’s “Christmas Under the Lamposts” was the night the city turned on the lights of the tree on the St. Mary Parish Courthouse square and along Parc sur la Teche. A huge crowd lined Main Street for the many events held Saturday evening, with the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus aboard a Franklin Fire Department fire truck among many of the guests participating.
