Sennet Wiggins and Melissa Picou, parents of Central Catholic students, helped the Junior BETA boys in robotics this year. Picou arranged a field trip to Oceaneering for these boys to go to the local but global company to learn about the robotics from ocean to space.
The students are in the process of building their robot that will push, lift and pile. Each of them was able to manipulate a robotic arm to lift and stack blocks and then complete an underwater drilling simulation. These boys are ready for a Junior BETA convention coming soon.
