Basketball registration accepted at Morgan City Recreation Department. Ages 5-12 may register through Nov. 30. Fee: $45, first child; $35, second and $25, third, in same family. No family pays more than $105. Forms available at MCRD, 915 Everett St. Must include copy of birth certificate.

CONCERT
Morgan City Live Community Concert Association continues its 2023-24 season with a cappella group Backtrack Vocals at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium. The group takes familiar pop, funk, Motown, standards and Broadway songs, and mixes it with all-new vocal (and beatbox) arrangements. Season tickets for all four remaining concerts are $45, adults $10, students, K-12. Single concert tickets are $25, adults and $5, students. Tickets online at www.morgancitylive.com or at the door.
