FEEDING
Ministry of Lee Chapel AME Church, 609 Freret St., Morgan City, hosting a “Thankful Thanksgiving Luncheon” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15. Door prizes given.

DEADLINES
The Morgan City Review office will be closed Thanksgiving Day and Friday, Nov. 24. Although the office will be closed, Friday’s paper will be published as usual, but with an early press deadline. The early press run means that the classified and legal advertisement deadlines are at noon on Monday for Friday’s paper. There is no change to the Wednesday newspaper deadlines.

LIGHTS/RIBBON
Bayou Vista Community Center will celebrate its 30th year with a ribbon-cutting event at 5:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, followed by a Christmas lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. Features Santa and Mrs. Claus, train rides, Christmas music, food, refreshments and more. Public invited.

LANDFILL
The Harold J. "Babe" Landry Landfill will be closed all day Thanksgiving Day in celebration of the holiday.
