CANCER
Free breast and colorectal cancer screens available 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 22, at Walgreens, 815 Brashear Ave., Morgan City. Screenings are free if not screened within the last 12 months. Insurance billed for mammograms. For those without insurance, there will be no charge. Colorectal cancer screenings consist of distribution of a take-home colorectal kit, which requires a stool sample submitted for testing via mail. Appointment required, call 985-239-5739. This is a Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center event.
