CANCER SCREENINGS
Mary Bird Perkins and Woman’s offering mammograms and colorectal screenings 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April. 22, at Walgreens, 815 Brashear Ave., Morgan City. Screenings are free if not screened within the last 12 months. Insurance billed for mammograms. Those without insurance, there will be no charge. Colorectal cancer screenings consist of distribution of a take-home colorectal kit, which requires a stool sample to be submitted for testing via mail. Appointments necessary, call 985-287-5775.
