Walking the bridge

Area residents took advantage of the La. 182 bridge closure to walk, ride and jog across the Atchafalaya River. The closure was made possible thanks to efforts by Morgan City and Berwick governments and police forces, and St. Mary Excel. Closures are also planned 8 a.m. to noon May 6 and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 15.
