Voluntary evacuation order issued for south of Intracoastal

As of noon Thursday, St. Mary Parish President David Hanagriff has issued a voluntary evacuation order for the area south of the Intracoastal Waterway. He also signed a state of emergency declaration Wednesday night, and parish government offices will close at noon Friday due to the threat of Tropical Storm Barry.
