Two injured in Berwick-area boating accident

Two people were taken by helicopter for medical treatment Friday after a boating accident near the Jessie Fontenot Memorial Boat Landing in the Berwick area. The accident was reported about 3 p.m., and early reports say the Berwick Volunteer Fire Department and Acadian Ambulance responded. There was no immediate word on the nature of the accident or the condition of the victims.
