Suspects in Morgan City burglary arrested in Tennessee
Two of the four suspects in a Jan. 5 burglary in Morgan City have been arrested in Tennessee, the Police Department reported Sunday.
John Robert Hymel, 18, and Alyssa Jolie Landry, 21, are awaiting extradition to Louisiana from McNairy County, Tennessee, where the sheriff’s office located the suspects.
They were named in Morgan City warrant alleging simple burglary, theft of a firearm and theft ($5,000-$25,000).
Two other suspects, Frederick Calloway and Channing Miller Jr., had already been arrested.
The burglary occurred in the Cypress Gardens area.
Police Chief James F. Blair thanked the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Nicholls State Police Department and the McNairy County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in the investigation.
