St. Mary students receive President's Medals at Nicholls
Two students from St. Mary Parish were among 19 who received the Nicholls State President's Medal for maintaining perfect 4.0 grade point averages throughout their collegiate careers.
Among those receiving President's Medals were Carsyn Fabre of Morgan City, a psychology major in the pre-counseling program, and Emily Terrebonne of Bayou Vista, a nursing major.
Tbe awards were conferred during the university's 118th commencement May 16. In all, 667 students received degrees.
Summa cum laude honors went to 65 students, 55 graduated magna cum laude, and 72 earned cum laude distinction.
