Dean Duplantis and Jeremy Price, shown here with Rotarian Jakob Dworaczyk, talked to the Morgan City Rotary recently about the April 5 Basin Brew Fest. This year will mark the seventh edition of the downtown Morgan City event, which offers samples of craft beers and raises
money for renovations at historic Lawrence Park. Since 2017, the event has helped raise over $80,000 for the playground, the gazebo and fountain, but organizers say more work remains. Tickets are available at www.basinbrewfestmc.com.
