Setting up Santa

Morgan City employees are busy setting up the Spirit of Morgan City shrimp boat, putting Santa and the white alligators in place for the annual lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. Thanksgiving night. The centerpiece will once again be the work of Lee Romaire, the Morgan City native and Emmy-winning artist. The alligators pull Santa in the shrimp boat and give a ride to some other denizens of south Louisiana waters.
