Senior meal days this week in Morgan City, Franklin

St. Mary Community Action Agency’s CEO, Almetra J. Franklin, announces the May Senior Feedings for St. Mary Parish seniors on the east and west end of the Parish.

Seniors in Morgan City and surrounding areas will enjoy a home-style cooked meal Tuesday, fully prepared by CAA staff. Dinners can be picked up in front of the AARP Building located at 4014 Chennault St in Morgan City.

Seniors in Franklin and surrounding areas will pick up their meals on Thursday in front of the Franklin Recreation Center located at 505 Haifleigh St. in Franklin.

The dinners are distributed 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Please keep in mind senior recipients at both locations will drive by and pick-up meals. There will be no inside mingling due to the COVID-19 restrictions and social distancing guidelines.

The meals are intended for seniors ages 60 and above only. This Senior Feeding is sponsored by the St. Mary Parish Government and St. Mary CAA, Inc.
