Senior Feedings Tuesday in Morgan City, Thursday in Franklin

The April Senior Feedings for St. Mary Parish senior citizens in the Franklin and Morgan City areas have been announced by the St. Mary Community Action Agency’s CEO, Almetra J. Franklin.

Seniors in Morgan City will enjoy a home style cooked meal on Tuesday. The meal will be fully prepared by the CAA staff. The dinner will be held at the AARP Building, 4014 Chennault St. in Morgan City.

The meal for seniors in Franklin will be Thursday at the Franklin Recreation Center, 505 Haifleigh Street Franklin

Serving will be 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Please keep in mind seniors will drive-by and pick- up meals, as there is no inside mingling due to the COVID-19 restrictions and social distancing guidelines. The meals are intended for seniors ages 60 and above only. This Senior Feeding is sponsored by the St. Mary Parish Government and St. Mary CAA Inc.
