Ribbon-cutting opens Lighthouse Festival

Mayor Duval Arthur cuts the ceremonial ribbon to open the Berwick Lighthouse Festival on Friday afternoon. The festival on Berwick's riverfront continues thrugh Sunday and features live music, carnival rides, food and craft vendors, a Saturday night fireworks display and more. Joining Arthur at the ribbon-cutting were state Rep. Vincent St. Blanc, Police Chief David Leonard, members of the St. Mary Chamber of Commerce, and Town Council members James Richard, Kevin Hebert, Lud Henry and Colleen Askew, who led the organization and promotion of the event.
