Performance by La. natives and their band will cap concert season

Louisiana natives Jeremy Davis and Clay Johnson, along with the rest of the Equinox Little Big Band, are bringing you a rousing collection of America’s greatest songs, from the smooth sounds of jazz to the energetic beat of pop, in a concert at 7 p.m. May 18 at Morgan City Municipal Auditorium.
This is the final concert of the 2016-2017 Community Concert Association series and single event price is $25 for adults and $5 for students (K-12). Tickets may be purchased at the door. Those who sign up for the new 2017-2018 season may attend this concert free. Call 985-385-2307 for more information.
Along with the greatest songs, the best original arrangements and phenomenal musicianship, Davis and Johnson two bring their rich friendship and charm to the stage. Fashioned in the style and swagger of the legendary entertainers lead by Frank Sinatra, Davis and Johnson are putting their own stamp on the Great American Songbook. Graced with a touch of Motown, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Elvis and more, the group offers a freshness and relevance that speaks to every soul.
The Community Concert Association of Morgan City Inc. was formed in 1947. Strong adult and student membership help ensure continuing concerts for the area.
The Community Concert Association of Morgan City is proud to announce a new partnership with the St. Mary Council on Aging, which is offering free transportation to and from concerts for those 60 and over who live in St. Mary Parish. Please call at least 24 hours prior to concert to arrange.
