Patterson girls power up

Patterson High School Sophomore girls attended the Females Fueling Our Workforce Event at BP’s Houma Operations Learning Center earlier this month. They heard from women working in oilfield related jobs. The students were able to ask questions about each presenter’s job, education, and family. Presenters included Senator Sharon Hewitt and female employees of BP, Chevron, Entergy and Shell.
