As Breast Cancer Awareness Month nears its end, local sports teams have continued what has become a tradition: wearing pink in support of cancer patients and research. Pink pom-poms were added to the mix by Central Catholic cheerleaders at Friday's game with Hanson Memorial. This Saturday's Nicholls State home football game with Southeast Missouri State has been designated Breast Cancer Awareness Day.
