Operation Beautification in Morgan City on Saturday

Morgan City’s Operation Beautification Community Clean Up day is being held until noon Saturday. Volunteers are picking up litter in the downtown area in preparation for the Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival that starts Thursday and runs through Labor Day. A group of volunteers gathered at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium for assignments before heading downtown. Use caution when encountering volunteers collecting trash along the roadways.
